It was a mistake killing the feed

Now that I finally set up reporting system for total view count on the platform, I can see that removing the collected feed was a bad idea. There is a clear drop in views since that change was committed.

So why?

I wanted to get rid of it because I was trying program a specific user behavior. I want people to come to Ouro with intention. You much choose a team you want to interact with, intentionally.

I figured as a fight against the ultra-addicting doom-scroll feeds, I would try to prevent Ouro from becoming a place like that. That's not a good business decision. Philosophically it may be what I want, but I scroll too and it's nice some time.

Sometimes you need to consume again to create.

We eat food, right?

Consuming high quality content feeds the mind and soul. Let them do that on Ouro.
